The gallery is located in the Roombeek area of Enschede, which was devastated in the fireworks explosions of 2000. The district has now been re-built with modern architecture. The gallery is built in minimalistic and functional style. Bert Kuipers is specialized in Modern Post-War art from the Netherlands and sells paintings and sculptures from various art historical periods, such as Cobra, Constructivism, NUL/Zero, Minimalism, Informal and Optical Art, Expressionism and the 'peinture barbarisme' of Jan Cremer.
