Biscuit. de Keramiekbasis is a new place in Enschede where creativity and togetherness come together. Work with ceramics, join workshops, and get inspired.

Artist Marieke Siers is opening a next-level Ceramics Café right next to her SiersArt studio.

Biscuit will be the artistic place where quality and togetherness come together. It’s not just about making something, but about learning to work with materials and techniques, growing, and experimenting while also taking time to relax in the inspiring atmosphere of an art café.

The name Biscuit refers to the foundation of ceramics: raw, unfired material that’s ready to be shaped and painted. At the same time, it stands for warmth and cosiness, a place where you can calmly work on your creations with a cup of coffee or tea and a biscuit on the side. This combination of creativity and togetherness lies at the heart of Biscuit.

At Biscuit. de Keramiekbasis, you can:

  • Join workshops or classes
  • Learn from professionals
  • Create your own ceramic artwork
  • Work on your own tableware collection
  • Or simply enjoy a lovely creative morning or afternoon with your mother, grandmother, friend or colleague
