Sickhoes

Rijksmuseum Twenthe and art space Sickhouse open together: Sickhoes.

The Los Hoes, the old Twente farmhouse in the backyard of Rijksmuseum Twenthe, is open again. Various activities will be organised in the Sickhoes. During the day, films and artists' videos will be shown continuously in relation to the museum's exhibitions. Special film evenings are organised on the first Saturday evening from May to October. These are often Arthouse, B, C films and classics with an interactive atmosphere, where the audience is invited to actively participate.

In the summer months, Sickhoes will also be used as a base for Summercamp Making Ko(o)rts: a two-week workshop programme for young people from the city in which they learn to make experimental films. This production will be shown during the Sickhouse short film festival Ko(o)rts in September.

Sickhoes is part of Sickhouse. Besides the many activities organised at this venue, there is much more to do. For example, the Overkill Festival is organised every year.
