Batavierenrace

The Batavierenrace is the largest relay race in the world, with participants running from Nijmegen to Enschede every year. The 54rd Batavierenrace will be held on May 9 and 10.

The total running distance is over 175 kilometers and is divided into 25 stages (16 men's and 9 women's stages). Every year over 350 teams with 8,500 athletes participate, all students. Also for spectators this is a fun event, come for example to encourage riders at the restart in the Van Heekpark, but also the finish on the campus of the University of Twente always attracts a lot of public!
