The story of Roombeek
The neighborhood Roombeek was swept away by a fireworks disaster on 13 May 2000. 23 people died, more than 1,000 residents were injured and 42.5 hectare city was destroyed. In the past years, the whole of Roombeek was rebuilt beautifully. Now it is a place where people enjoy art and culture in a green environment.
