Booster Festival

The festival where new talent from the eastern Netherlands gets a chance to perform and learn about the world of pop music.

The Booster Festival is an annual free festival held at various locations in downtown Enschede. The festival is the place where new talent from the eastern Netherlands gets a stage and can get to know the entire Dutch music industry. Booster connects the creative music industry. The day consists of a music conference during the day and, in the evening, the showcase festival featuring the talents of tomorrow.

The Overijssel Pop Prize is also awarded during the Booster Festival. In recent years, this prize has been won by, among others: Snelle, the Cool Quest, and Jeangu Macrooy.
