Tea & Talk
A warm and reflective tea gathering where students share stories and experiences around Islamophobia to foster understanding and inclusion at the University of Twente.
Sip & Share: Tea and talk about Islamophobia
In honour of International Tea Day. Sign up for a cozy and meaningful evening of tea, food, and conversation at the University of Twente. You're invited to sip teas from different cultures, and engage in heartfelt dialogue about a topic that often goes unspoken: Islamophobia.
While enjoying free dinner and a rich selection of teas, there gently will be opening up a space to reflect on how Islamophobia impacts students, not only on campus, but also during internships and in professional settings. Through real student stories, anonymous reflections, and open conversation, they aim to break the silence and foster a more inclusive and understanding environment at UT.
What to expect:
Taste teas from diverse cultural traditions
Listen to student experiences and lived realities
Reflect and discuss in a safe, welcoming space
Contribute your thoughts toward future change
Whether you have personally experienced Islamophobia or are looking to better understand the issue, this event offers a chance to connect, learn, and grow together in a supportive setting.
